Pixie Swoop Mane :: July 2021

I do not have the original screenshots I took with this hair, made initially for Magik Pony. I'm missing a great number of screenshots from the latter half of 2021.

With this hair, I was of the mind that pony hairs should act similar to realistic horse hair - with their hair essentially being a mohawk. This was my attempt.

Goals:

• Follow the mohawk hair growth of realistic horses

What I Learned:

• Practice manipulating curves

• How to make hair that lies on top of itself

Notes:

• I used the default hair shape provided in the dev kit

• For what it is, honestly, I'm kind-of proud of how this one turned out. It's a little crunchy, but I think I accomplished hair movement pretty well in this one.
