My content creation journey started with SmitCo in 2016, when my friend taught me how to make horns from a curve in Blender. They're very basic horns, with a simple but strange unwrap. But I got the rough introduction to Curve and Mirror. I got distracted with real life and didn't touch mesh again for a couple of years.
Goal:
To make custom horns for myself
What I Learned:
Simple UV unwrap
Curve manipulation
Mirror Modifier
Notes:
This could be redone with an easier unwrap. One with the consumer in mind.
If I were to remake this, I'd make a rounded base, so the consumer could place them anywhere on the head. They really only fit on the forehead.
I haven't yet tested the level of detail on them, but I'm sure it's not great.
